Anticipating Master Cleanse

I am about to set out on my 3rd cleansing experience this Tuesday, January 20th.  This time its Master Cleanse, also known as the lemonade diet.  Essentially this is a mono-diet of fresh lemonade with maple syrup and cayenne pepper.  It will help the body to eliminate all manner of built up toxicity.  This should lead to great vitality, vigor, and well being for yours truly.  My intention is to heal my body preemptively, bringing me one step closer to optimum health.  Further, by having a positive experience during this cleanse, it is my hope to positively inspire others who are considering a cleanse to improve their own health.

I’m striving for 10 days duration because I hear that’s a really beneficial number.  It should give my body enough time to really get out the accumulated toxins and wastes that I’ve been carrying around unknowingly.  I may even extend it a few days if needed due to logistics.

I have been reading about the cleanse in terms of preparation and the required daily activities.  In fact, I feel more prepared than I have for either of the previous two cleanses I’ve gone through.  I am making a personal commitment to journal about the experience here, once a day for each day of the cleanse and post-cleanse process of easing back into solid foods.
